Dr. Agnivesh Tikoo, MS {Ortho!, FNB Spine Surgery, Fellow ASSI, AOSpine India Fellow, IASA Fellow- University Hospital Wales {UK), AOSpine International Fellow- Guy’s Hospital, London (UK) is a Consultant Spine Surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. He has more than 7.5 years of experience in Spine Surgery. He is highly trained from best Spine centers both in India as well as abroad. An avid learner and excellent clinician, he completed his Orthopaedic training in 2010. During the Orthopaedic residency he had the privilege of being in the department of spine and thereafter has constantly expanded his knowledge and expertise in spine. He has been trained in spine surgery in the most advanced and prestigious institutions in India and abroad. He did his AOSpine National fellowship from a prestigious hospital in Kolkata. During this one year training, he gained expertise in the complex spine procedures including spinal deformity correction, spinal tumor surgery. He had the opportunity to work simultaneously with the both Orthopaedic and Neurospine Surgeons.
After completion of his one year AOSpine fellowship, he persued his FNB Spine Surgery from a renowned Hospital in Mumbai. FNB Spine Surgery is the only MCI recognized Spine fellowship. During his spinal fellowship he had the opportunity to be a part of more than 800 spine surgeries which included highly complex and advanced procedures in the spine.
Dr. Agnivesh Tikoo had the opportunity of learning advanced Spine Surgery procedures during IASA spine fellowship from University hospital of Wales and Llandough in Cardiff, Wales, UK. He has learned the Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery from Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital in London, UK. During his AOSpine International Fellowship, he had learned Paediatric Spine Deformity surgery from Evelina Children’s Hospital, London UK. He has also been associated with various reputed hospitals in Mumbai.

Dr. Tikoo has contributed significantly to research. He has 19 publications to his credit. He has presented his work at many national and international conferences. He has more than 20 presentations to his credit. He is a faculty at regional and national level conferences. He has received many awards and his been exceptional at his medical studies proved by the positions secured during medical training. He has two best paper awards to his credit. His study presented at WBISSPCON in December 2011, Kolkata, India was awarded the Best Paper. He has also received the K S Grewat Best Paper Award.
At Annual North Zone Orthopaedic Association Conference 2016. Dr. Agnivesh Tikoo has also written various chapters in Orthopaedic and Spine books.
His multifaceted training in Spine Surgery has enabled him to use the latest technology/ techniques like neuronavigation, minirnal invasive spine surgery, neuromonitoring to add perfection to his spine skills and improve the patient outcomes comparable to any international center
