Dr Kapur is Founder Director of Sharp Sight (Group of Eye Hospitals). Having trained at Guru Nanak Eye Centre at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, he gained advanced training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
Dr Kapur has been conducting training lectures and live surgery workshops for fellow Ophthalmologists all over the country with innumerable paper presentations at national and international conferences like ICIMRK (International Cataract Implant Microsurgery and Refractive Keratoplasty) ASCRS, ESCRS, APACRS, etc.
Dr Kapur has been inducted as an APEX (Asia Pacific Expert) by Bausch and Lomb. Also, he has been one of the two permanent Indian surgeons to be invited at APACRS (Asia Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons) as an APEX.
Dr Kapur is one of the few eye surgeons in the country to conduct instruction courses at the most coveted eye conferences in the world, i.e. ASCRS (American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery) and the ESCRS (European Academy of Cataract Surgery).
Dr Kapur has been an invited member of GSAB (Global Strategic Advisory Board) by Bausch and Lomb internationally (only 7 surgeons from all over the world are invited for this group).
