Dr. Aabha Nagral is a senior consultant at Apollo and Jaslok Hospitals, Mumbai. She also runs her private clinic, Nagral clinic at Prabhadevi in Mumbai.  She is a Gastroenterologist by training from KEM Hospital, Mumbai with a specialization in liver diseases –adult and pediatric and liver transplantation from Royal Free Hospital and King’s College Hospital, London UK and Mayo Clinic, USA. This was possible through the PN Berry Scholarship of the UK High Commission and KC Mahindra scholarship.  She is currently the chairperson of the liver committee of the ZTCC (Zonal transplant co-ordination committee), Mumbai and a liver committee member of the ROTTO-SOTTO. She is a managing trustee of Children’s Liver foundation an NGO working towards creating awareness about liver disorders in children and helping families of affected children financially and through support groups. Delivered more than 500 lectures and around 100 publications including textbook chapters in National and International forums. Has organized several national meetings and won 8 awards and is a member of many National and International societies. She is also a reviewer for several National and International journals. She has been the Secretary and President of the Maharashtra Chapter of Indian Society of Gastroenterology and been on the governing council of the INASL- Indian National Association of study of Liver.
